Every ending is a new beginning

And so DM of the Rings has ended. We knew it was coming; there was only so much source material left in the Lord of the Rings for Shamus to use. I thought the ending was absolutely perfect, and yet another gaming situation I've personally seen. I am sad to see it go, but all good things do indeed come to an end eventually. The comic had a damn good run, and, happily, drew me in to read the rest of Shamus's site. But all is not lost. Thanks to the guys at Fear the Boot, Shamus has hooked up with artist Shawn Gaston to put out a brand new webcomic. Instead of screen captures from copyrighted material, Chainmail Bikini offers all-original content, and it looks great. The first strip went up this morning, and shows a lot of promise for a highly entertaining future. Get over there and start enjoying it from the very beginning!
