I first bought my Xbox 360 nearly a year ago. My daughter and I selected it as our Christmas present to ourselves. I pretty much wanted it for one game and one game only:
Dead Rising. More than anything, I wanted to spend hours rushing about killing zombies in various graphic and entertaining ways. I definitely got my wish, and had a blast playing the game over the last several months.
I did a lot of things in the game, saving survivors, eliminating psychopaths, even learning to hate Otis and his constant calls on the radio. But one thing I never did was actually complete the game. At least, until today. I finally managed to survive a full seventy-two hours in the mall and catch the chopper out of Williamette once and for all. I didn't waste a lot of time trying to rescue anyone, and spent the majority of my time hacking up zombies with edged weapons in one area. I got ending B, which means I still need to go back and play through actually trying to get the true ending. That'll give me access to infinite mode where I can try and survive for seven days of game time, after which I'll have access to the laser sword.
But the important thing is that I survived the Williamette zombie uprising.
