Missing Houston, Believe It Or Not

It takes an awful lot to make me miss Houston and wish I could get back there more often. I never much liked the city or the climate or, really, much of anything about the area. But Jay Lee just made me wish I were there, posting to say that the Flying Fish Sailors will be playing live at Shoeshine Charley’s Big Top Lounge. Shows will be on the second Monday of the month (starting March 10th) and should run from 9pm until 11pm or so. I haven't seen them live in years; I think the last time was for the release party for Remnant Stew (which happened to be going on at the same place a friend wanted to have a birthday dinner). Hopefully I'll be able to make a trip back down there one of these days and catch up with them.
