Elvis has entered the building

Now that we're back up and online, I wanted to share my latest acquisition for home decor. I am well noted for my utter and complete lack of taste.  I know what I like to look at, and, really, that's all that matters, isn't it?  There is one item I've long wanted to grace my walls, one thing that really sums it all up for me.  So I was extremely excited when I got a call from Dustin a little while back.  His office was having a silent auction to raise money for ... um ... actually I have no idea what it was for, but that's immaterial to my tale.  The important bit is that they had this:

A Velvet Elvis!  I told Dustin how much I was willing to spend, and he managed to win the auction.  Last Friday, I picked it up from him and brought it home to hang on my wall.  It is glorious! Also, Brianna has learned she should never, ever tell me unconditionally what I can and cannot use to decorate the house.  She forbade me to get one a long, long time ago.  Look how that turned out.
