Like any good Original Junkie, I was out at the bookstore on April 1
ST, grabbing my copy of
Infected: A Novel
. I love
Scott Sigler's fiction, and really enjoyed the original podcast of the novel. So I was all about supporting him as he mounted his offensive against the very
New York Times best seller list. He's trying to force a paradigm shift in the publishing industry, and I wanted in on the revolution. Plus, art deserves to be rewarded, and good writing, whatever the genre, is definitely deserving art in my world.
The big question, of course, is: "Was it worth it? Worth the cost of a hardback novel?"
