My Xbox's Blog

Thanks to the fine people at , my Xbox 360 now has .  He'll be blogging about playing games with me and keeping track of my gamer score and achievements, and, if I don't play at all for long stretches, he'll start talking smack about me.  It uses information publicly available from my online gamer card to generate the posts.  If you have an Xbox Live membership and would like to give your Xbox 360 a voice, head on over and sign up yourself.

Who is Bruce?

I can't believe I left Bruce out when I ported the site over to Wordpress! I first met Bruce when he was a communications undergrad who worked part time in my office. During that time, his official job was to be my researcher, though he also did a few office-related tasks. When rolled around, we both got heavily into that show as well.

Who is Matt?

Matt is Liz's big, goofy pickle and co-DM of the Soen campaign. He is overly fond of mazes, which makes me want to inflict bodily harm upon him, but the fact that he has a bionic knee which could probably destroy me (and that he's one of the nicest guys I've ever known) tends to stop me.

Who is Liz?

Liz is a writer and geek in early stages of development, having just received her geek certificate last year. She and Matt are making their DM debut by running the Soen campaign together. She is also very like a tyrannosaurus rex, only smaller and infinitely more delightful to spend time with. Except when you make little t-rex arm flailings at her. I will eventually be making arrangements for her to teach me to play Cribbage.

Who is James?

Jessica's husband James doesn't post much on his LJ, preferring to entertain in person. And entertain he does with his uninhibited personality and infectious laugh. He's also wonderful with kids; my own daughter calls him "Jungle James." He also plays the halfling rogue Darky in our Soen campaign.

Not to be confused with Jessika, although she is also and excellent cook and has gotten me to try a great many foods I was certain I did not like. I met her through LiveJournal, and have spent many an evening at her and her husband James's house.

Elizabeth is the first person from LiveJournal I met in person, and the one who introduced me to all of the others, like Jessica, James, Chad, Liz, Matt, and the like.

Who is Chad?

in
Chad is a professional web designer, among many other things, though. A great friend, a geek, a gamer, and a podcaster, to name a few. He ran an awesome d20 Modern adventure on our Geek Camping trip in October, 2006, which will eventually be blogged here. He publishes two podcasts: ElmoCast and The Geek Wedding, and got married in the spring of 2007 to another dear friend.

Who is Jessika?

Jessika is also one of my best friends ever. She is married to Dustin and often participates in our movie nights. She a defensive superpower that renders her unconscious if a movie reaches a sufficiently high Boll level. She is an awesome cook, and I have never left her house with less than a full belly. She also runs the website , where you can read more about her and her life.
